2. Hosting and server log files
This website is run by an external hosting provider on servers in the EU. When you visit it, technically necessary data such as your IP address, the date and time, the page visited and your browser type are processed so that the website can be provided securely and reliably (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). We have a data processing agreement with the provider (Art. 28 GDPR).
3. Online booking (feratel Deskline)
To check availability and take bookings, we use the booking system of feratel media technologies AG (Austria). When you open the booking page or send a booking or enquiry, feratel processes your data on our behalf (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). The booking system stores technically necessary information (e.g. your search) in your browser's storage. For details, please see feratel's privacy policy.
4. Contact by phone, email and WhatsApp
If you contact us, we process your data in order to answer your enquiry (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). The WhatsApp button is a simple link: WhatsApp (WhatsApp Ireland Ltd. / Meta) is only opened when you click it, and WhatsApp's privacy terms then apply. If you use the contact form, we process your name, email address and message to answer your enquiry (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Messages are sent via the email service Resend (Resend Inc., USA) on the basis of standard contractual clauses. The data is not used for advertising and is deleted once it is no longer needed.
5. Fonts and maps
Fonts are loaded locally from our own server; no connection is made to Google. The map preview on the Contact and Location pages is an image stored on our server (map data © OpenStreetMap contributors). Only when you click “Show map” is Google Maps by Google Ireland Limited (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland) loaded. Your IP address, among other data, is then transmitted to Google and Google may set cookies. The legal basis is your consent given by clicking (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). Data may be transferred to the USA; Google is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. More at policies.google.com/privacy.
6. Cookies and statistics
We do not use tracking or advertising cookies and no statistics or analytics services. No user profiles are created.
7. Your rights
You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. To exercise these rights, please contact info.berghausl@gmail.com. You can also lodge a complaint with the Austrian Data Protection Authority (www.dsb.gv.at).
